After Rush
After rush and after you have accepted an invitation, you are a pledge of your sorority / chapter.  Pledges carry out activities that Big Sisters do not have to.  Pledges may be required to save seats for their Big Sisters at functions / events or to wait for the Big Sister to sit down before the pledges do.

The Pledge Period begins with 30 days of bonding and ends with the 4 day initiation process after you have completed the rush process.  The pledge period is a trying time, but done with dignity and pride.  Pledges have heavy demands placed on them during this short 4 day period.  You may grow tired or sleepy, but remember, it is only a 4 day process and then you may return to your normal sleep pattern.  If you have any medical conditions, be sure to tell your rush counselor and the registrar at check-in.  Remember to bring any/all your legal medications that you may need during this 4 day process.

Hazing is illegal in most states - and is definitely against Greek and Sigma Phi Psi's regulations.  Sisters can be arrested and sororities fined for this.  We also represent the United States Armed Forces and we will bring no disgrace to our country and flag.  Report any and all hazing!
